Technoblade: The Popular Minecraft Video Game Youtuber Died

The films produced by Technoblade used to amass tens of millions of views due to the popularity of the company’s mascot, which consisted of a pig wearing a crown.

In a little under a decade, Technoblade has amassed nearly 11 million YouTube subscribers and 3.7 million Twitter followers because of their sharing of their love for the video game Minecraft, which allows users to create virtual worlds out of bricks and create their own stories.

He revealed to the public that he had been given a cancer diagnosis in August of 2021. He also revealed to his followers that he had visited the doctor after feeling arm pain, which he had initially misunderstood as the result of a stress injury or repetitive strain brought on by the game while playing in a video.


His father claims that his son, Technoblade, penned his final message approximately eight hours before he passed away. The father of Technoblade, who was fighting back tears as he spoke, referred to his son as “the most amazing child” anyone could ask for and then said, “I miss Technoblade.”

The family of the popular YouTuber made the decision to disclose his passing by uploading a video to their channel with the title “Hasta nérds.” In the video, the deceased YouTuber’s father introduces himself and informs viewers that his son penned a message and wanted him to read it to his audience.

More than 11 million people subscribed to his channel on YouTube, most of whom were boys and young people who were saddened by his passing away at such a young age. He went by the name Technoblade on that platform.

After a painful tumor developed on his right arm, the internet celebrity, who was known for winning Minecraft tournaments and having legions of fans with whom he had humorous conversations about his life while playing, explained in a fundraising video that he had undergone chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery in order to save one of his limbs. The video was uploaded in February.

A statement from the Technoblade family was delivered at the end of the video, which has been viewed more than 19 million times. The statement went as follows: “This last year has been one of many trying times for our son as he battled stage four cancer. However, he has not grumbled and has continued to apply his well-known strategic intellect in an effort to overcome what he was well aware to be nearly insurmountable odds.

All of us who had the honor of traveling this route with my son and witnessing his bravery along the way learned a valuable lesson from him. Thank you for sharing your journey through it all while working on the projects that he loved to undertake for his devoted admirers.

Tributes to the Technoblade from fans:

The internet has been inundated with tributes to the deceased player from fans, celebrities, and other gamers.

Ted Nivison, a YouTuber, recalled the experience as “effortless fun. Endless talent. Gone too soon. Rest easy, Technoblade.”

Another renowned YouTuber, TommyInnit, posted the following on his Twitter account: “Technoblade is a fucking legend. I started out as a huge admirer of his music and eventually became one of his friends. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have been a part of his life at any point. I have no doubt in my mind that he is formulating plans in heaven on how to triumph over God.
